Life insurance is an essential part of financial planning for the family. It protects the family in case something happens to the member of the family. Usually of utmost importance is insuring the income earner member of the family.

 

 

Living Benefits

Living benefits address among other things, the loss income of oneself due to sickness accident. Such benefits provide to reimburse medical expenses, replace loss of income, or simply provide for a lump sum amount to oneself.

Permanent Insurance

Permanent Insurance is more expensive than a Term Insurance. However, it provides for versatility in terms of guaranteed premiums, level cost of insurance, cash value, and surrender value.

 

 

Guaranteed Issue - Life Insurance

There are situations when we try to get insured and yet unable to, due to health reasons. There is still a recourse for this. You will need what we call a Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance.

 

Term Insurance

The simplest type of life insurance is what we call “Term Insurance”. Two characteristics of such type is the affordability of its premium vis-a-vis a bigger coverage. Usually, this is taken to cover the debts of the family during the income earner’s productive life span.

 

Living Benefits

Critical Illness

It pays a lump sum benefit amount to a person who has suffered a heart attack, stroke, coronary bypass or cancer to name a few. The purpose of this insurance is to alleviate the burden to the survivor due to the loss of income.

Disability Insurance

This insurance is to replace lost income when one is unable to work due to disability, a consequence of sickness, and or accident. It may be simplified or underwritten.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Fast forward, when one is too old to be able to take care of oneself, Long-Term Care Insurance will augment the benefits one can obtain from the health care system. Specifically, it is possible that one receives a monthly benefit from his Long-Term Care Insurance to augment other benefits.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is aimed among other things, providing reimbursement of medical expenses when one travels, spends time away from home, when one gets sick or possibly bring oneself back home.
